Anchorage County Clerk

This is the Anchorage District office of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR) State Recorder's Office, which administers Alaska's statewide recording system and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Central File. Alaska has no counties or county clerks, so deed and document recording is handled at the state level by the DNR Recorder's Office; the Anchorage office serves the Anchorage recording district and processes documents for many other districts. The public can search the statewide recording index online for free by name, date, document number, document type, book/page, plat, survey, MTRS, and subdivision, covering documents recorded from the early 1970s to the present.
