Winston County's mapping/GIS function is administered by the Revenue Commissioner's office. Its official public GIS map viewer is the KCS "ISV3" application at isv.kcsgis.com/al.winston_revenue/, which lets the public search and view parcel/GIS maps, property assessments, and ownership information at no cost. A companion Assurance property-tax portal (winstonproperty.assurancegov.com) provides free searchable property tax and account records. This free system replaced the county's former subscription-based mapping site in October 2024.
