The Washington County Circuit Clerk serves as the county recorder in Arkansas, responsible for recording and maintaining land records such as deeds, mortgages, liens, and related real-estate instruments, as well as circuit and probate court records. The county moved its website to washingtoncountyar.gov; the former co.washington.ar.us domain no longer resolves. Recorded documents can be searched online through the county eSearch portal by name, recording date, instrument/file number, and document type, and historical land records from 1834-1991 are searchable through the county Archives database. Basic index searching is available to the public at no cost, while a subscription account provides full document images and enhanced search features. Court case records are also available through the Arkansas AOC CourtConnect system.
