Monroe County Judge of Probate

This is the official page for the Monroe County, Alabama Judge of Probate office on the county government website. The office records and maintains land records (deeds, mortgages, liens, UCC filings, plats), maintains probate court case records, and handles motor vehicle and boat tag registration. Through the county's online-services portal at ingprobate.com/monroe_probate (operated by Ingenuity, Inc.), the public can search land records and probate case records for free and renew vehicle/boat tags online; a 3% processing fee (minimum $3.50) applies to renewals and payments. Viewing or purchasing copies of recorded documents requires a paid account through INGRecords (ingrecords.com). The office is located at 65 N.
