Mobile County Mapping/GIS

The Mobile County GIS / Mapping division, part of the county Administration Department, maintains the county's centralized geographic data and publishes interactive map applications and downloadable maps to the public at no charge. Its ArcGIS site offers map viewers such as the Researcher Map, jurisdictional boundaries, facilities, and flood/storm-surge maps, along with an open-data hub where datasets can be downloaded (CSV, KML, GeoJSON, shapefile) or accessed through GeoServices/WMS/WFS API links. Downloadable PDF maps (commission districts, public works, flood and storm surge) are free, while printed copies may be purchased. Property ownership and tax-parcel searches by owner name, address, or parcel number are provided separately by the Mobile County Revenue Commissioner.
