DNR Office of the Recorder (Statewide)

This is the official website of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources State Recorder's Office, which administers the statewide document recording system (34 recording districts) and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Central File. The public can search the statewide index of recorded documents online at no cost, covering records from the early 1970s to the present. Documents can be searched by name, document number, document type, recording date, book/page, plat, survey, MTRS, or subdivision name, and copies can be ordered online for a fee. This office records legal documents; it does not maintain property assessments or tax bills, which are handled by the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
