From the county's online services portal, use the "Land Records" lookup to search recorded documents by grantor/grantee (party) name, recording date, book/page, or instrument type, and the "Probate Case Records" lookup for estate/probate matters. Registering a "Record Account" and per-page fees (approximately $0.75 to view and $1 to download each page) are required to view or print document images. Note: property tax assessments and parcel/GIS maps are handled separately by the Crenshaw County Revenue Commissioner (alabamagis.com/Crenshaw), not the Judge of Probate.
Official page for the Crenshaw County (Alabama) Judge of Probate, located at the county courthouse, 29 South Glenwood Avenue, Luverne, AL 36049. The Probate Office records and maintains real property records (deeds, mortgages, liens, UCCs, plats) as well as probate cases and motor vehicle tag/title services. Recorded land records and probate case records can be searched online through the county's online services portal (hosted at altags.com/Crenshaw_Probate, powered by the Syscon system). Basic index searching may be available, but viewing or downloading document images requires a registered account and per-page fees. The current Judge of Probate is Hon. William A. Tate.
